Headquartered in Bedford Virginia, Altitude Imaging provides unmanned services (drones) to an array of industries; industries such as electric utilities, construction, real estate, and more.

Our founder, Curtis Marshall found his passion for aviation at a young age. Through annual trips to the Tidewater region of Virginia where he watched fighter wings at Oceana Naval Station as a child to his personal adventures of learning to fly both manned and unmanned aircraft, his passion is exemplified in his work.

Altitude Imaging was born from Curtis’ research, development, and work with his volunteer fire department to begin a drone program to assist in efforts of ground search and rescue, fire fighting, and incident management. Through his dedicated time and efforts, he began to understand that Unmanned technologies were on the cutting edge of changing industries requiring safety and reduced risks scenarios. Curtis’ diligence through his R&D efforts within Bedford Fire Department allowed the department to become one of the first in the Commonwealth to have a successful drone program and has been an example for dozens of agencies across the Commonwealth of Virginia and the country.

Altitude Imaging has now been in business for 4 years and we are proud to continuously grow each year and assist industries who embrace unmanned technologies!
